Create API Keys for Bybit
Creating an API allows you to connect to Bybit’s servers via several programming languages. Data can be pulled from Bybit and interact with external applications. You can view your wallet and transaction data and make trades.
Please create your Bybit account here: Create Bybit Account.
1. Log in to Bybit, click the avatar, in the drop-down menu, select API, as shown in the image:
2. Click on Create New Key located on the right side of the API Management page.
3. The following pop-out window will appear. Please select System-generated API Keys. After that, select Connect to Third-Party Applications and choose ProfitTradingApp from the dropdown.
Then select Read-Write and enable all the permissions except Withdrawal.
4. Enter your Google Authenticator 2FA and click on Next Step to proceed.
5. Your API key is now created. Copy your API Key and Secret Key and paste them in ProfitTradingApp when requested.
If you granted the right permissions previously, you should see all the green ticks shown in the figure above.
If you account is eligible to get receive rebate for your trades, you will see a green tick in the bottom of the screen.
