Create API Keys for Bitget

Creating an API allows you to connect to Bitget’s servers via several programming languages. Data can be pulled from Bitget and interact with external applications. You can view your wallet and transaction data and make trades.

1. Log in to Bitget, press the API Keys menu option and select Create API.

2. Select System-generated API key. Introduce an API Name and an API Passhphrase for your keys (you can place any you want). Store your Passphrase in a safe place, you will need it later. 

Then set Read-write permissions, and enable Orders, Futures, and the desired permissions (never give them withdrawal permissions!).

3. After that you will see your API Key and API Secret, store them in a safely place. Press Confirm.

4. Your API key is now created. Copy your API Key and Secret Key and paste them in ProfitTradingApp when requested.

If you granted the right permissions previously, you should see all the green ticks shown in the figure above. 

If you account is eligible to get receive rebate for your trades, you will see a green tick in the bottom of the screen.
